Jeep On-Board Air Systems

The Constant Duty On Board Air System that Viair makes contains everything that you will ever need in terms of an on board air system.  The heart of this system is a 450C compressor that is 100% duty cycle.  The compressor fills the tank (2 and a half gallons) from 110 to 150 psi and it just takes a minute.  This system can operate longer without having a break than other comparable systems on the market.  When it comes to inflating your Jeep tires, this system has you covered because of the clip on air chuck attachment.

Some of the parts included with this system are:

·         Viair tank that holds 2 and a half gallons

·         Viair 450C air compressor

·         Coil hose – 35 feet

·         Quick connect stud – ¼ inch NPT F

·         Quick connect coupler – ¼ inch NPT F

·         Dash panel gauge that is complete with the on and off switch

·         Pressure switch that is complete with 110 psi relay on and 150 psi off relay

ARB

ARB also makes an on board air system.  Theirs is called the High Output On Board Air Compressor.  This air compressor is one that will need to be permanently mounted in your Jeep.  It comes with a full wiring loo as well as an air locker solenoid plug to be used for the contacts.  It also includes all of the necessary hardware for mounting and even has a quality compressor isolator switch, 

This compressor will allow you to activate the air lockers and you can even inflate camping gear with it.  You might also choose to spring for the separately sold tire inflator kit.
